Highlights from the 2024 WHEDA Conference

The New Year Investments team attended the 2024 Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) Conference at the Monona Terrace in Madison. We had the opportunity to learn from housing professionals from across the country and connect with current and past project partners. This year’s conference theme was “How Housing Happens,” covering topics such as financing structures, community engagement strategies and policy updates related to housing development. Our own Anne Neujahr Morrison participated in a panel discussion on bond financing in multifamily housing.

We are grateful to WHEDA Staff for organizing this annual event, which brings together hundreds of housing professionals to collaborate and explore ways to create more affordable housing opportunities for communities throughout Wisconsin.
