Breaking Ground: The Center for Black Excellence and Culture

Today, a few members of the Park Badger Redevelopment Team, including The Alexander Company, Captains Inc. and New Year Investments, came together at the groundbreaking ceremony for The Center for Black Excellence and Culture. This event was a celebration of the vibrancy of Madison’s black community, filled with hope and excitement for future opportunities and connections that will be fostered at The Center.

Congratulations to Rev. Dr. Alex Gee on this amazing accomplishment! The Center is sure to be a fantastic addition to Madison’s south side, and a model for celebrating black excellence and culture for other communities across the country.
